Important Information Regarding Worship
Updated: May 8
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic Forest Park will stop holding in person worship services at church through April 6. This means no regular corporate worship on March 22, 29 & April 5. We will continually review this decision in the coming weeks and keep you informed as decisions are made. The next Session conference call will be on March 31 to reassess the situation. We will provide regular worship materials so that you may still worship with your family and be connected through the shared experience.
In addition, all meetings will be suspended or done through conference calls. The office is closed, and our secretary is working from home but will check voice mail regularly & pick up the mail. Session is working with the Deacons and their care groups to provide emotional, spiritual, and social connection for our members through phone calls, emails, etc.
Please call a member of Session or Reverend Bruce (608-205-7428), if you would like to talk or have questions. We welcome any ideas and suggestions you may have. We know in these challenging times, that Jesus Christ is walking with us and we have the witness of the great cloud of witnesses to support us each day. We trust that we will be together again, even as the present reality breeds uncertainty. We rely on God’s wisdom, compassion, and grace to see us through. We will provide more information as decisions are made and ideas for being socially and spiritually connected while physically distant.
